GMTD and Siloam Hospital Makassar Provide Covid-19 Rapid Test for 250 Air Force Personnel Sultan Hasanuddin

In the spirit of togetherness against Covid-19, Siloam Makassar Hospital and Tanjung Bunga Developer (PT Gowa Makassar Tourism Development, Tbk) rewarded the role of the Air Force Sultan Hasanudin by donating and conducting 250 mass rapid tests on tuesday 9 June 2020 to 250 Air Force personnel.

 

The  event was attended by the Air Force Commander TNI Sultan Hasanudin, First Marshal H. Haris Haryanto, S.I.P, Deputy Director of Siloam Hospitals Caroline Riady Hospital represented by the Director of Siloam Makassar Hospital Dr. Hery Bertus and President Commissioner of PT GMTD Prof. Didik Rachbini, represented by Tanjung Bunga M. Harrys Associate Director

 

Air Force Sultan Hasanudin  plays a major role and faces severe challenges at the forefront in the aviation services, and air logistics in South Sulawesi and its surroundings. The private sector has the opportunity to share in different resources as a form of cooperation in the field.

 

As the spread of the Covid-19 Pandemic and a high infection in South Sulawesi, in order to maintain the service of the Air Force Sultan Hasanuddin and as efforts to break the chain of spreading of the infection, the Air Force Sultan Hasanudin  needed and wanted to conduct a rapid test of Covid-19 for its 250 personnel.

 

GMTD and Siloam Makassar Hospital accepted the request and agreed to provide assistance, donations and cooperation in the form of 250 rapid test kits and conduct mass rapid testing at the location of the Air Force Sultan Hasanuddin.

 

Air Force Comander Sultan Hasanudin, First Air Marshal H. Haris Haryanto, S.I.P welcomed this cooperation, “We appreciate the initiative and cooperation with GMTD and Siloam Group as one of the providers of health services, especially in this crucial period. We hope that this support can control the spread of the corona virus. If there is a medical action needed after the test, it will be done immediately and thus can break the chain of spread of COVID-19. ”
