It has been almost 2 months since the end of March, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Akkarena Management has temporarily closed its operational activities. Regarding the Government’s plan to restore the economy, Management will reopen the Akkarena beach tourism this weekend.
“The non-renewal of PSBB and the loosening of service and business activities in Makassar City are our consideration for re-opening Akkarena,”said Nataziah Public Relations GMTD.
“This Friday (May 29, 2020) Akkarena will be re-opened for public, even though the Pandemic has not completely disappeared around us. We will strictly enforce anticipation protocol where visitors will be checked for body temperature. Akkarena also will not hold public events which potentially gather crowds. Visitors who are allowed to enter are individuals, “she concluded.
